The Chairman opened the meeting with a lively discussion about the various elements of crime:-

 

Principal Characters – Have to be credible, and include:

Crime fighters

  • Professional

  • Amateurs

  • Spectators

Eddie:

  • How to get away with Murder featuring Chicken, Peanuts and Bottles, the tools for a perfect crime.

  • The Art - Poem

Nicos:

  • Robots and their future – Murder and sex mystery

 

Coffee break:  11:00 - 11:15

Carol:

  • Body found at 44 The Willows – murder mystery

Caroline:

  • Metaphors – The Wedding Speech about golf as a metaphor for marriage

Stewart:

  • The Yellow Bus – True story of a drug addict

 

Quiz:

 

John Winslow chaired an interesting but confusing quiz about mispronunciation.

Homework:

 

To produce a story, a chapter or an outline of a story about any crime.
