Greetings Scribes, A small but enjoyable meeting with plenty of topics of discussion this week. Readings: initially from in the Truth or Lie category from last week’s writing prompt. Caroline: A story entitled “Cowed”. Rick. "Failed Coup," Conspiracy Theory style expose There followed a discussion on several aspect of grammar. After a break for Coffee the readings based on Truth or Lie continued David: Presented a Quiz of 20 facts that were either true or false. Derek:

Derek has agreed to be custodian of the PWG Library. Books from the list in our tutorials page can be borrowed by arrangement with him. He has our textbook collection at the moment. Copies of members published books and a collection of textbooks on script-writing will be passed over to him next week. Present: John Goodwin Jennie Rook Derek Whittle Dee Leigh Michael White June Megennis Caroline Harman Smith Beryl Lowe Richard Powell (new member) Apologies from: Richard Palmer Greetings Scribes, The first meeting of 2020 and the start of the winter term, it was nice to see new and old members. Apologies made for Rich Palmer, who has undergone knee surgery, speedy recovery wishes to him from us all. John announces his purchase of his new home in St Leonard’s Upon Sea, UK and will be leaving at the end of February. Topics of discussion further to John’s departure were; PWG finances, the PWG library and how the group should be run from February/March.

New year's greetings scribes. I hope you all had a great holiday and are up for another exciting term at the PWG. It is time to shake off the accumulated stodge of over indulgence over Christmas and exersize your mentle muscles with a new writing adventure. Hope to see you all there.
