Where and When
We meet on Thursday mornings in a pleasant, room at Coral Star Taverna Pegeia.
There we are looked after by , the bar manager, and his staff who provide us with tea, coffee and all manner of soft drinks for the nominal charge.
The meetings start at 10.00am and finish around 12-12:30 when some of us transfer to the bar or restaurant for a drink and sometimes lunch.
From time to time we organize a meal for members and their families or outings to places of interest to draw inspiration from this wonderous Island.
Why.
Before joining, many of us had no previous experience of writing beyond that of our school days. Some had work published before they joined; others, with the group's help and encouragement, have published novels or factual books since joining. Click here to read about them.
Whilst the group includes members of different nationalities, all written work and discussions are in English.
