Irene – Life’s Pantomime

The history of Pantomime, comparing it with Opera and Ballet in the eighteenth century, and morphing into Irene’s life time memories of panto with her family.

Glen – Horseplay

A lad is taken with becoming an actor, because of the very attractive drama teacher, leaves school and gets signed up with an acting agency. His first role is in a Pantomime where his good looks and physique should be an asset. But he ends up as the pantomime horse alternating between the front and back half!

Patti – The evolution of Pantomime

A well researched piece into the ancient history of Pantomime which ends in the establishment of the art in England into what we have today.

Mike – Anger Management

Philip is angry at a situation he finds himself involved in. So he relieves his frustrations by chopping a pile of logs ready for winter, He finally calms down as his sister arrives and all is resolved.

Bob – Aphrodite Darkening

The Syrian suspect in the murder enquiry is investigated by the team. And they go to immigration where Pavlos is attracted to Malima the immigration officer.. Malittzia just wants to get on with the job.

June – Foray into Pantomime

June and Charles buy a house in a Welsh village and get involved in the local Pantomime, June arranges the music and the whole thing is a success.

Richard – What a Pantomime

Richards description of a riotous Pantomime which is brought to order when Prince Charming in the form of Sir Kier Starmer takes charge. Not political at all !!

Jenny – The Joys of Cruising

Told in rhyme, the story of a large lady on an all inclusive cruise, enjoying everything that is available. Until she jumps in the pool…….

Richard then gave us an example of one of his poems set to music which is what he is doing at the moment.
