Minutes of our Meeting of 23rd September 2021 Venue Neo's and on Skype.

Greetings fellow writers.

Meeting began at 11-08.

At Neo's were: Mike, Rick, Gina, Bob.

Many thanks to Gina presenting the meeting, and Rick and Bob, for setting up Skype.

We began with Readings based on the “Ocean Waves” prompt from last week:

John: “Jack and John Went up the Hill, Entirely Made of Water”. A True story of a crossing to Turkey.

Rick: “Ocean Waves.” A murder mystery a man is found in the water stabbed. A forensic based investigation.

There followed a discussion on the facts of Crime Scene management. John introduced us to some interesting FREE courses on the subject. Follow this link: https://www.futurelearn.com/ A course called “Introduction to Forensic Science.” Is currently running.

June: “La Mere.” An introduction to the music of Debussy

Mike: “A life on the Ocean Wave.” A day trip to Blackpool leads to a sea journey.

Bob: “Breathe Again”. An extract from his new book that is out next Tuesday.

Gina: “JD and Lynn.” Part of her autobiography in progress. Friends aboard Gina’s

cruiser.

Nikki: “Doing Right by Mum.” Belated spreading of ashes at sea.

Meeting ended at 1.30
