Minutes of our meeting of 13 May 2021 Skype only.
Greeting fellow writers.
Present at today's meeting. Bob. Rick. John. Gina. Dee. Jennifer. Nikki. June. Claudine.
Many thanks to Gina, who presented the meeting, together with Jennie who deals with all administration and member correspondence and Dee for taking the minutes.
The Meeting began with Readings:
Gina: 'Part four of her rescuing story plus contributing last week's prompt 'Alone'.
Rick: 'Across the pond' continuation of the WW11 novel.
Jennifer: 'Alone' prompted from last week's homework. A short poem of a woman betrayed by her husband. Followed by 'Defiled' the continuation of her Work in Progress Novel
This prompted a short discussion about Jennifer's story.
We congratulated her on the completion of her book 'Ella' produced for Animal charities. Hope it makes loads of money.
Nikki: The continuation of her Work in progress Ebony and Lily the twins living in Cyprus,

Readings continued:
Bob-'The woman across the street' His work in progress.
Claudine: the prologue and first chapter of her book 'Childhood Adventures'. read on her behalf by Gina A very descriptive account of the farm through the eyes of a young Daisy.
A discussion ensued.
John-'Vengeance'. A dark story of being buried alive and managing to escape. Written in second person narrative mode.
June: 'Love story' A memoir currently not included in ‘Tears and Symphony’
Dee: 'Lost' A child's experience of being apart from her parents.
At the close of the meeting John posted a Questionnaire in word for opinions when members have time.
