June had researched various forms of torture and read out a few of the more choice examples including: Upright Jerker. Keel Hauling. Execution bath.

Bob read an extract from his new project “A Killing Place in the Sun.”

John read an article on creating a character through their dialogue. Then the members present drew lots to select a character from a list of Nationality. Each was asked to come up with a name for their assigned character.

This week’s home writing prompt. Create a character and demonstrate their personality through a conversation piece.
