John announced that Beryl’s third book 'LIZZIES SECRET', was now in print and available as a paperback from 1st July.

This week’s writing challenge: Incorporate in a story an unusual or foreign words but without a formal translation make it clear as to what it means. Any subject but if you would like a suggestion try, “Encounter with a Stranger.”

With end of term coming up the following are proposed:

A social gathering will be held after the meeting on the 18th, July at Neos.

There will be a drinks only social gathering in the bar after the meeting of 4th.

We will also arrange a meal out in the evening of 11th July if there are enough members taking it up Venue to be advised. In both cases all members and partners welcome and there will be a small subsidy towards drinks.

The last meeting before the summer break will be on 18th, July and we will resume on 5th, September.
