Greetings scribes.

During Johns recent sailing trip the dinghy went missing but he did manage to save a piece of red rope with a bowline knot. Consequently, this was the topic of the homework and brought some interesting stories. Rich Palmer, secretary.

Homework: Members present were asked to imagine they are searching through a dressing table of a ninety plus year old woman and a surprising item. With one choice each we produced the following list.

A gun - The woman in a wedding photograph - A photograph of unknown baby twins - An old, booklet type, out of date driving licence of unknown man - Letter of commendation from Royal family - A navy knitted beanie hat with a hole in it - An old wallet - old wooden puzzle box - A faded ticket to an old music hall.

Write a story of up to 1000 words and link as many items as possible.
