Greetings scribes,
First of all, let me say on behalf of all the members how saddened we are at the loss of a great friend and member Nicos Protopapas. His funeral was on Sunday 24th September at the church in Peyia village. It was well attended by his many friends and family. After a gathering at the local cemetery mourners were invited to his house in Coral Bay.
Nicos was an absolute gentleman who brought many stories into our lives with much humour and a wonderful dialogue. A great family man, he will be missed by all.
Due to three other members who were absent and are set to return to the U.K, the meeting was well attended and we welcomed Tony Samson who introduced himself and read from his new book, 'Question Mark'. Tony enjoyed the meeting and has decided to join the group.

Rich poem Autumn
Maurice poem Autumn uprising

Jennie has had a request from Nicos's family for PWG members to make a collection of thoughts about Nicos as we remember him.

Next meeting will be on Thursday 5th October at Neo’s Sports Club.
