Minutes of the meeting 12 December 2019 Venue: Neos Sports Club, Pegeia.

Greetings scribes, well it's that time of the year again when we hang up our pens to concentrate on the festive season. It has been an interesting year with members leaving and new ones joining. Many topics have been discussed and written about and we now look forward to the new year of 2020.

A considerable amount of discussion occurred on writing topics during the meeting.

It was noted that our library of members publications, books on writing and literary journals will need a new home in the new year, anyone who has space for a box of books (we have 3) please let John know.

Holiday period home writing prompt: Write a story\poem based on your view of the coming year (your 20-20 visions.)

A gathering of members, wives and partners followed the meeting with drinks and a buffet

in our writer’s room. It was nice to see Dee and Adrian there after a long period of absence, Dee intends to return in the New year.

I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
