Minutes of the meeting 23/11/17 at Neos Sports Club, Pegeia. Greetings Scribes: Well, the homework, “write a story on any subject with an unhappy ending” which sounded simple, was not that simple. We obviously all have nice natures and like to give a happy ending, so this was a bit of a challenge. However, most members submitted a story or poem which kept the meeting vibrant. P.W.G minutes of the meeting 16/11/17 at Neos Sports Club, Peyia. Greetings scribes, the absence of regulars who have returned to the U.K was noticeable this week. The meeting was lively but with a relaxed feeling. Present: John Goodwin, Rich Palmer, Maurice Holloway, Jennie Rook, Caroline Harman-Smith, Ann Joyce. Last week’s writing prompt was to write a children's story for a targeted age range and include a moral. Some interesting work was put forward. Venue Neos Sports Club, Peyia. Greetings scribes, a pleasant, interesting meeting with lots of discussion. The homework from last week, “An Unreliable Narrator,” point of view created quite a challenge, but some interesting stories were read out. Minutes of the meeting 2 November 2017 at Neos Sports Club, Pegia.

Greetings scribes, a well attended meeting with a couple of guests. We welcomed June Megennis and her husband Charles Haddad. June is writing her memoires and a very interesting life she has had travelling all over the world in charge of national orchestras working with some very famous artists. Charles is an ex professional volley ball player and also wrote a book about his life which sold 20,000 copies. We look forward to more interesting stories from them in the future.
